Volunteer Services

Give the Unique Gift of Yourself
Hospice volunteers are ordinary people doing something extraordinary. They are men and women of all ages, interested and abilities who share a common belief in the principles of hospice and a desire to help patients and their families deal with life’s greatest challenge. An integral part of the hospice program, volunteers bring the unique gift of themselves to support the patient and family.
Through their simple acts of personal caring and concern, hospice volunteers help provide comfort and support to enrich the end-of-life journey.
Our Volunteer Opportunities
You must be at least 18 years of age and willing to make a commitment to our hospice program. Volunteers must complete an application, attend a personal interview, give permission for a background check, other screenings, and participate in a 15-hour training course provided by Ogeechee Area Hospice.
Come join us in a fulfilling and rewarding program for people in your community!
